MEET THE SPEAKERS

Christina Piranio is the Chief Executive Officer of San Diego Children's Discovery Museum in Escondido, providing accessible hands-on learning opportunities to children ages 0-10 with a focus on STREAM education. She most recently served as the Director of Philanthropy at Voices for Children, leading the research, writing, and administration of institutional funding. Prior to Voices for Children, Christina played a pivotal role at Thrive Scholars, where she scaled operations and programs for a growing national organization.

Christina holds an MA in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego and a BA in English from UC Santa Barbara. Her extensive nonprofit work experience includes Cancer Support Community, Casa Cornelia Law Center, First Place for Youth, International Rescue Committee, and the Washington Village Neighborhood Planning Council.
