MEET THE SPEAKERS

Jackie Plaza is a results-oriented Marketing executive with over 20 years of experience driving growth, brand reputation, and loyalty through strategic 360 efforts that engage new and existing audiences.  She currently is the Vice President of Marketing for California for SeaWorld and Sesame Place San Diego where she leads the Sales and Marketing teams. Prior to that, she oversaw Marketing and Communications at Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles and was the Vice President of Property Marketing at Caruso, where she led events and marketing efforts for destinations such as The Grove, Palisades Village and a host of other retail and hotel properties. She is passionate about advocating for and supporting communities in need, and has volunteered internationally in Peru, Ghana, Thailand and Vietnam on a variety of human rights issues. She is an avid athlete having climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, trekked to the Lost City of Columbia, and more and most recently, completed her first triathlon.
